Chrome extension
Connect Mythic's read-only results overlay to Meta Ads Manager.
The Mythic for Meta Ads Manager Chrome extension adds Mythic's tracked sessions, lead sessions, conversions, revenue, cost per conversion, ROAS and Constraint Finder verdict beside Meta's campaign, ad set and ad rows. It reads Mythic's data; it does not edit ads or tracking settings.
The initial release is being validated before store publication. For an operator-assisted preview, load the approved unpacked release folder in Chrome's Manage Extensions → Developer mode → Load unpacked. Do not load an unverified ZIP or paste an agency API key into Ads Manager.
Connect a browser
- Install or load the approved Mythic for Meta Ads Manager extension.
- Sign in to the agency app
as an agency user. Open Keys → Connect a browser, or
/extension/connect. - Wait for Mythic extension detected in this browser, then select Connect this browser.
- After Connected, open Meta Ads Manager. Mythic's panel appears beside the campaign grid. Choose the client if the account is not resolved automatically.
The connect page creates an agency-wide key named Chrome extension ·
<date>, limited to extension:read and constraints:read. The key is
handed to the extension, not placed in the URL or shown in the page. A failed
handoff attempts to delete the newly created key; check the Keys page if the
connection failed. Each connection creates a separate key, including when
connecting again in the same browser.
Select the right client and dates
The extension first matches the visible Meta ad account against your clients' Airbyte connections. If there are multiple matches or no recorded match, select a client in the panel. A remembered client link is local to this browser and agency; Forget removes it so you can choose again.
Connect Meta and complete an ads sync for that client before expecting
results. The overlay follows the account, campaign/ad set/ad level and date
window in Ads Manager. When its URL contains a supported comma-suffix preset
(such as last_7d), the preset takes precedence over the saved interval, which
can be stale. Without a supported preset, an explicit interval uses an
exclusive end: 2026-09-28_2026-10-05 selects September 28–October 4.
Unknown/custom suffixes retain a valid explicit interval. Unreadable dates,
ranges longer than 92 days and lifetime selections require a supported,
bounded date selection before results load.
Presets resolve using the browser's local date, not the ad account's timezone. Mythic counts UTC event days; Meta uses the ad account's timezone, so the first and last day can differ. This is not timezone-aligned reporting. Google Ads results are not supported in this release.
Understand the numbers
Mythic counts tracked site sessions and identity-resolved conversions. Meta counts modeled attributed results. On-platform objectives such as lead forms and messaging have no site sessions, so differences are expected. Open a Mythic row's details to inspect its funnel verdict and any warnings. A grey — means unavailable or unmeasurable, not a healthy result.
Revenue values have no currency symbol: the API does not return currency in this release. The revenue column hides when there is no revenue. Zero denominators display — instead of an infinite ratio.
Results come from Constraint Finder, filtered to the visible ad account after attribution across the client's accounts. Account totals are account-scoped; benchmarks, tracking and attribution diagnostics remain client-wide. The client's Constraint Finder plan entitlement and query limits still apply.
Disconnect or revoke
Disconnect in the extension popup removes the credential from that browser; it does not revoke the server-side key. To revoke access, delete the corresponding Chrome extension key on the agency Keys page. Keys do not expire automatically in this release. Delete unused keys after reconnecting or retiring a browser.
Open tabs normally recheck access and operator notices every four minutes and when focused; offline or suspended tabs cannot guarantee immediate updates. A revoked key removes displayed results after revalidation. An operator can also require an extension update before results are shown.
If results are missing
- Extension not detected: enable it in Chrome and reload the connect page.
- Choose a client: select the client that owns the synced account; use Forget if a remembered link is wrong.
- No ads sync: connect Meta and finish a sync for that client.
- Not in plan: Constraint Finder is not enabled for that client.
- Update required: install the operator-approved newer extension version.
- Grid not found: reload Ads Manager and use Report a problem if it persists. Reports contain clipped diagnostic text and are logged for operators, not retained as a queryable report history. Do not include credentials or personal data in a report.
The bootstrap and account-resolution contract is documented in the
Ads Manager Extension API reference. The actual results contract is
GET /client/v1/constraints?account_id=….
